The TSMV Tiakina – From Historic Harbour Boat to Luxury Charter
Tiakina is a fully restored 1950s British-made, twin-screw power vessel originally commissioned as a Wellington pilot boat. Discovered in Port Chalmers in 2008, she was lovingly restored to become a boutique charter boat — combining heritage charm with modern comforts.

The extensive year-long refit included significant upgrades in comfort, safety, and hospitality. Tiakina now stands as one of Dunedin’s most unique and luxurious charter vessels — purpose-built for unforgettable events on the water.​
